This charming farmhouse cottage has all you need for a relaxing family holiday - a spacious and comfortabe gite with a lovely mixture of traditional and modern furniture.Tranquility is guaranteed at Gite Les Blancs with no other houses nearby. You can relax in the peaceful tree lined grounds, knowing that your children are free to play in safe surroundings. The gite has its own garden with gated entrance, where there is a barbecue and garden furniture.The private heated family sized swimming pool is perfect for children with no deep end. It has a sunny decked area and is fully enclosed with a gated entrance. There is also a large trampoline with safety net, badminton, table tennis and a toddlers play area.Just five minutes from the holiday accommodation is Reguiny with facilities which include a large supermarket, shops, bars, restaurants, beautiful lake, tennis courts and 25m swimming pool.

The large lounge has exposed beams, a feature stone wall, a wood burner built into a large Breton fireplace and a double glazed window overlooking the garden. The room is comfortably furnished for nine people. There is a stereo system, CD and DVD player. The television receives both French and English free to view programmes. Wireless internet connection is available in the holiday cottage. A glazed door gives access to a large front entrance lobby, with double glazed windows where you can sit and enjoy the sunsets.The well equipped kitchen/dining room has a double glazed window overlooking the rear courtyard. There is a wide range of farmhouse pine units, a stainless steel double bowl sink with mixer tap, dishwasher, five burner range style gas cooker, microwave, and large fridge/freezer. A rustic Breton dining table seats up to ten people. The downstairs cloakroom has a toilet, washbasin and washing machine. An oak staircase leads to four bedrooms with views of surrounding fields and trees. Upstairs are two double and two twin bedrooms with fitted wardrobes, showers and vanity units. Outside there is off road parking close to the house. The external gates lead to an enclosed area with garden furniture and a charcoal barbecue. There is a sunny field where your children can play in safety. In the orchard you will find a private heated swimming pool, 3 metre trampoline, table tennis table, badminton net, swings with rope ladder and a large picnic bench. Four adult bicycles are available for your use free of charge: there is no better way to enjoy the countryside than on a bike!

Les Blancs is a perfect place to relax and a great base for exploring Brittany with its chateaux, medieval and Napoleonic towns, museums, canals, lakes and rivers, woods and fields as far as the eye can see, and remember the seaside is never far away. There is also plenty to do locally: at Reguiny (3 kms) you can take a leisurely stroll around the lake, or swim in the open air 25 metre pool. There is also a large supermarket, shops, restaurants and bars and museum. Tennis courts are at Reguiny and Radenac (3kms) free of charge! The area around Les Blancs is ideal for walking and cycling with the family. The Nantes-Brest Canal with its picturesque locks, canalside bars and creperies is only 10 minutes by car. The local creperie, (with a bouncy castle to keep the children happy), is just 5 minutes away, but make sure you book first, as it is very popular with both locals and visitors. The minimum stay is one week except in low season, arrival day is flexible, except in July and August when the changeover day is Thursday. Please arrive after 16.00 and depart before 10.00 to allow time for cleaning. For Short breaks in Low Season, the mimimum stay is one night and the arrival & departure time 16.00.
