Le Chalet: wooden house on our camping-terraces a little bit away from the farmhouse, about 25 m², to hire between may and september incl. for two up to four persons: double bed (1,80 x 2,00 m), bunk bed, table and seats. Small roofed-in terrace with summer-kitchen (refridgerator, cooking-facilities and kitchen utensils) and garden-furniture. For our guests we have a common bathhouse with a shower-room, outside rinsing sink and a seperat compost-toilet.

Durantis is situated at a lovely southern hillside with a panoramic view. It’s silent, sunny an isolated at at an altitude of 580 meters. Although the climat is mediterranean. Our farmhouse, near the Parc National des Cévennes, is a good departure for walking tours for example along the sentier en pays cevenol (GR 67) or at the chemin de Stevenson in direction of the neighbour Vallée Française. There are promenades to nice swimming-places in the clear river Gardon in our valley. You will have a magnificient view over the range of hills called Corniche des Cévennes and at the Mont Aigoual.

Additional Information

Our rates includ all expenses (electricity, gas et water), bedlinen, towels and final cleaning. 10% discount from the second week. We cultivate our fruits, vegetables and chestnuts and breed our sheeps under regard of the conditions for organic farming. You can buy our products on our farm. We have restored our farmhouse and the cottages with natural and traditional materials (schist, wood and lime). As far as possible we have worked most organic possible. Only the wood of our farm is used in the stoves. On respect of the traditional style we have decided to construct for the bathrooms and toilets seperat buildings. Because the mediterranean summers are very dry we save water in using compost toilets
