Trekking along the Poggi around San Casciano: the itinerary is shown on the road indicated by the Tourist Board. Visit to the prehistoric caves at Belverde: along the road from San Casciano to Sarteano at about the 10 kilometer mark. Pienza: tour and visit in the Orcia Valley. Palazzone: tour of this locality found along the road to Fighine. Cetona: with a tour of the convent of Saint Francis.

San Casciano dei Bagni is a lovely town in southern Tuscany. There is a large spa just outside of town. This is a quiet region, a little off the beaten track, but full of charming towns and beautiful countryside. Among the gently rolling hills which surround Siena, in an enchanting corner of Tuscany unequalled in its splendour, and close to the medieval village of San Casciano dei Bagni, flow the hot water springs of Fonteverde, famous since ancient times for their beneficial effects.
