The cottage was originally an 18th century farmhouse built from the local stone. It overlooks Barleycove Beach, Crookhaven Harbour and the islands beyond. Self contained within its old stone walls are a series of small gardens and an old slate patio looking South, offering both shelter and tranquillity. Facilities: Newly restored by the local architect it offers every modern facility whilst retaining the charm of its origins. A wooden floor and an open beamed ceiling to the ground floor accommodate the large open plan living room and kitchen, with a shower room off. An old cast iron spiral stairs leads to the first floor bedrooms, where under the timber roof are double and twin bedded rooms, giving fantastic views over the fields down to the sea.
