It’s the best starting point for visiting this south west side of Sardinia, still untouched, with the wild sea shores still not covered by cement and buildings. You can find here wild creeks and sea rocks, but also large, white, and quiet sandy beaches. It’s an area rich of nature, wilderness, genuineness. The history of Sulcis-Iglesiente is a history of poor but audacious and boastful shepherds, fishermen and miners. You can visit the old mines in MINIERE VISITABILI.
