Both quaint cabins have been in our family for many years. They have one bedroom, one bath, and sleep 4. The houses are side by side and located about 2 blocks from the beach. Each house has a great gulf view. The Quintana Rose has a TV and VCR, the Quintana Sun has a TV and DVD. Each kitchen has a microwave, stove/oven, coffee makers, toasters, cooking & eating utensils, & all linens for kitchen, bath and beds. The houses are air conditioned and have heaters for the off season, with outside showers for rinsing off the sand. Come relax on the decks, take long walks on the beach or visit the Quintana Beach County Park located two blocks from the houses.

Quintana offers many fishing options Intracoastal Waterway: A favorite spot for fishing and crabbing. Brazos River: From the FM 1495 main beach entrance, turn left on the beach and proceed south. Strong currents may be present, so use caution. Fishing Pier: Located within the Quintana Beach County Park, the lighted pier is handicap accessible and a favorite spot for night fishing. Free access is available at 8th Street. The Jetty's: The south side of the Freeport shipping canal is a popular fishing spot.

Quintana, an island located between the mouth of the Old Brazos River and the New Brazos River on the Texas Gulf coast, has been a community since 1532. Modern day Quintana is a natural family beach that is also home to the Quintana Neotropical Bird Sanctuary, Other attractions include a County beach park, which has full RV hookups, boardwalks to the beach, showers, and restrooms. Also, there is Xeriscape Park, for the birds and butterflies native to the area; a fishing pier, and an historical cemetery, which dates back to 1871.

Additional Information

Deposit: We require a $50.00 cleaning/damage deposit, plus 1/2 of the rental to hold your reservation. If you would like your cleaning /damage deposit returned, or not applied to your credit card, the house must be vacated at the agreed time, and left in the same condition as when it was rented. There must be no evidence of pets. Occasionally, we will make an exception with small pets, but there will be an additional $50.00 pet deposit. Please don't bring a pet without clearing it with us first, we will not return your deposit. Please limit you party to the number of people agreed upon in the rental agreement. Payment: We now accept Mastercard and Visa, however, there is an additional $10.00 processing charge to use your credit card. Will will charge your credit card an additional $50.00 cleaning/damage deposit, it the house is not left in the same condition as when rented. We will accept, cash, moneyorders or a personal check. However, there is a $25.00 charge on all returned checks.
