New bungalow for 6 persones, furnished and equipped to a very high standard. No smoking, one well behaved pet by arrangement, please talk to us. 3 double bedrooms , one with satellite TV and space for additional cot ( cot and highchair available ), 2 bathrooms, one with bathtub, shower, WC, washing machine, tumbler, the other with shower and WC. Towels and hairdryers provided. Kitchen with electric stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer , additional electric devices, lots of china, glasses, cooking utensils. 30 m² living- diningroom with table and 6 chairs, large sofa , satellite TV, DVD-player, CD-player, radio. Veranda with furniture, garage , carport. New in 2007 : - one half of the big garden will be entirely fenced to allow dogs to run free. - a nice fireplace oven will be installed in the sitting-room ( besides the gas central heating ). This fireplace oven will burn logs and contains a department, in which pizzas, bread and rolls can be baked .

Börfink is located in the Nature Park Saar-Hunsrück in the low mountain range of the Hunsruck between Moselle valley and Nahe valley - both with excellent wines - in Rhineland-Palatinate. It is ideal for relaxing and for touring the triangle Germany-France-Luxembourg . The oldest German town, Trier , with Roman remains and excavations, the German Gemstone Route with the visitors´mine Steinkaulenberg (dig for gems!!), Lake Bostal for surfing, swimming and boat rides, a water park, a summer toboggan run, deer parks, the open air museum of Rhineland-Palatinate, Celtic remains , an airplane exhibition and much more can be explored.

Börfink is a tiny , quiet rural village amidst huge forests. There are no shops, pubs or entertainment directly in the village, however , within a 5 mile range, various pubs and restaurants suiting any taste are available. A mobile baker comes to the village every second day and a green grocer once every week. Super-markets, banks, medical surgeries etc. are 8 miles away in Birkenfeld and Hermeskeil .

Additional Information

Our rates are for 2 persons/night, for each additional person 6 Euro/night will be charged extra , 1 toddler sleeping in a cot is free. The rental price includes bed linen (beds are made ), towels, electricity, water, central heating and a welcome beverage. Final cleaning will be charged extra with 45 Euro for short breaks of less than 4 nights, the final cleaning is included for stays of minimum 4 nights .On arrival, we ask for 100 Euro deposit, the amount will be fully paid back on departure, if the house is left in decent condition without damage/litter . I case of cancellation 90% of the daily rental rate must be paid for each day, during which the house cannot be let otherwise . We strongly recommend a cancellation insurance. Every reservation and booking of a holiday property in Germany is a legally binding contract between host and guest.
