Beautiful timber features are evident throughout, especially in the atmospheric oak-panelled loungeroom, and bedrooms are themed on Australian wildflowers. Catch the trolley bus at Honeymoon Lookout, just nearby, to go further. Cloudlands provides easy access to both Leura and Katoomba. All tariffs include fresh flowers, fresh fruit, handmade chocolates and truffles, gift-boxed pampering natural toiletries and very generous self-catering breakfast provisions featuring local products - some organic. Cloudlands sits within the World Heritage National Park, providing easy access to all attractions. Katoomba shopping village can be walked to from our property. We are literally on the escarpment, with escarpment views and guests can partake in a variety of nature-based activities - from bushwalking, to rock-climbing and canyoning. There are numberous bushwalks at our back door! Approximately 30% of Australia's bird life is found in this region and guests at Cloudlands get an opportunity to see many wild birds at close range. Award-winning restaurants with views into the Jamison Valley can be walked to from our property. Solitary Restaurant in particular, is an ideal meeting point after bushwalking for a relaxed lunch!

Katoomba is considered the main town in the World Heritage Blue Mountains, just 2 easy hours by rail from Sydney and Sydney International Airport. The Greater Blue Mountains has been listed as a World Heritage area due to its outstanding biodiversity of eucalypt vegetation. Katoomba town centre has many examples of historic buildings, a robust cafe/restaurant culture, vintage and retro clothing, antique and curio shops as well as interesting book shops. A strong arts community also means there are a number of galleries in the area and selected cafes in Katoomba also exhibit work by local artists. The region is also noted for its exquisite, small organic sourdough breads, handmade chocolates from the Paragon Restaurant, a Katoomba icon. Near to this is the grand Carrington Hotel, serving gracious High Tea on Sundays and hosting a variety of events - from writers' festivals to Wine Festivals throughout the year.
