If you really want to get a way from it all... The Phuket Beach House is your answer. This small wooden house is located on the Beach of Chalong Bay in the south of Phuket Thailand. The house sits almost literally right on the sea. From everywhere inside the house and outside on the upper and lower decks, your view it out onto the bay.

From the PBH, it's a 25 minute drive to Patong, the largest most boisterous tourist beach with a bit too much of everything. 15 minutes to Karon, a popular Scandinavian area with a wide plush sandy beach and clear blue water. 10 minutes to Kata which is a small quaint beach area hosting club med and Kata Noi which is a small coral reef beach. Also in within this 10 minute drive is Nai Harn, a nice lesser known, but beautiful beach. A five minute drive South of Chalong will take you to Rawai. Near Rawai is Cape Phranthep, the best place on Phuket to watch the sunset. A five minute drive North of Chalong will put you in the heart of Phuket town, the city center of Phuket.

But the is a wide variety of activities to be found; Elephant rides, horse riding, safari's, rock climbing, snake shows, gun shooting, the zoo, etc.. But most of all, Chalong is where most of the boats set off for sunset dinner cruises, trips to other islands, diving, snorkeling or deep sea fishing. The calm steady waters of the Ao Chalong Bay make it an idea place to drop anchor and park your boat. Thus, this bay is home for most of Phuket's marine adventure businesses.

The house has solid views from every place inside and out. Both the upper and lower deck boasts a sweeping 270 degree View Range. The view direction faces directly due South East. The direction of the house faces directly South East with a far left view line at North West and a far right view line of South to slightly South West. Regardless of whether you are inside or outside, the views are clear and unobstructed. The key is, if you own a boat and have it moored out front, you can easily sit back and keep an eye on it.
