Intrawest Blue Mountain is a 5 minute drive with other ski clubs nearby. Wasaga Beach is a 15 minute drive and claims to be the biggest freshwater beach in the world at 14 kms. Cranberry resort contains many activities including an Audobon Golf Course, 3 swimming pools (1 indoor and 2 outdoor, one being adult only), Tennis courts, restaurants, bike and hiking trails and a marina across the road on Georgian Bay, Lake Huron. Nearby also are the scenic caves, many waterfalls and quaint towns of Thornbury and Meaford. Toronto is a 2 hour drive with Canada Wonderland theme park half hour closer.The Muskoka region is located 45 minutes away to view the Canadian shield and 30,000 Islands.
