Beautiful natural stone house in a absolutely calme situation on a property of 1 ha with a nice terrace. Here the silence is only disturbed by the noise of the birds and the water. The house has a living, 2 bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom on the first floor. Second floor two single beds. The house is built in a traditional style and decorated with character and warmth.

La Barthe is situated on the border of the Parc Naturel Regional des grands Causses and in the Monts de Levezou (the mountains of the Levezou), nearby the big lake Lac de Pareloup (1200 ha.)
La Barthe is located 36 km from Millau and 125 km from Montpellier. There are many pitoresque villages like St. Rome de Tarn, le Minier and Viala du Tarn. It is easy accessible by highway A75. Nearby Rodez (30 minutes drive to La Barthe) there is a little airport (London Stansted/Rodez).
La Barthe is lying on an ending road; so no noisy traffic.

Far away from all the hustle and bustle the Tarn river flows through the Aveyron. In this part of "le midi" (Southern France) genuine countryside and "la France profonde" still exist. A district with an extraordinary diversity of landscapes, that you will get to know when hiking and cycling through this far south part of the Massif Central : mountains, limestone plateaus (causses), lush green valleys, roaring rivers (Tarn, Jonte, Dourbie, Lot, Aveyron, Dourdou). Lots of small villages here instead of large urban areas with dense population. The Aveyron is also a rich source of (ancient) culture : the district of Templars, medieval cloisters and places of pilgrimage. And..apart from the cyclists and hikers, a renowned district for birdwatching, mountain-biking, (fly-)fishing, but above all a region for those who seek nature, peace and quiet.
