OKRUG is part of the island of Ciovo which consists of two traditional villages Okrug Gornji and Okrug Donji. This is the most popular tourist destination in Trogir region, with its wonderful 2km long gravel beach. It is also called "Trogir Copacabana" because of it’s beauty and popularity. Okrug offers a wonderful view of the arhipelago - little islands and islands of Solta, Drvenik Veli and Drvenik Mali. You can rent a boat and explore the surrounding islands or bike and explore the interior of the island of Ciovo, old village Zedno at the very top of the island and enjoy the beautiful view of the Adriatic islands or visit beautiful beaches on the south part of Ciovo. To Trogir and back you can take “Taxi Boat” that goes every half an hour from a small port in the Okrug and takes you to the city center - Riva.

The historic core of Trogir is unique sight, and it’s universal value was confirmed in 1997 by registering it on UNESCO`s list of world haritage. The town itself is situated on a small island in the canal between the Island of Ciovo and the mainland with which it is connected by two bridges. It lies 27 kilometers west of the city of Split. It is connected to all Dalmatian towns by the Adriatic Highway, and the Split Airport is located in its very vicinity - just four kilometers east of it.
