Liljons Gården is a small family owned country estate located in beautiful and tranquil surroundings in the heart of Skåne (Scania) in the southernmost part of Sweden.
Part of the estate is a guest house, Drängalängan, which means The Farm Workers Cottage. It is a newly converted barn, dating back to the 17th century. All the original features, the old oak beams and the high ceiling has been carefully restored to keep its original charm.
Whilst the exclusive interior meets the 21st centurys need for all the modern amenities thinkable to make your self-catering stay an utter pleasure.
Sleeps up to 10 people. Ideal for couples who like to have plenty of space, the larger family or why not two families sharing.
Downstairs is a large kitchen diner fully equipped with all the modern necessities you need, large luxury range cooker with 5 gas burners, coffee machine, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher and all the cooking utensils and cutlery for your cullinary extravaganzas.
Large and airy living room with open up to the eaves (6 metres) and exposed oak beams. Flatscreen tv, dvd player, comfortable seating and large patio doors out to the garden.
Two double bedrooms with large beds (160 cm) and wardrobe. Adjacent modern bathroom with shower, basin and wc. All decorated with comfort in mind.
Utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer.
Upstairs there is a large charming open plan lounge. Plenty of windows enables you to enjoy the vistas out across the countryside. Or sink into the sumptuous seating for an afternoon nap. There is a balcony down to the living room, giving the room its unique feel and appeal.
One double bedroom with large bed (160 cm) and dresser. Exposed oak beams and high ceiling, give this room an airy, yet cosy, feel. Adjacent wc and basin, for your convenience.
The sofa bed in the lounge can be made into a large double bed (80/160 cm), when required. There are also two daybeds (90cm). Cot, high chairs and strollers available, on request.
Large garden with garden furniture and barbeque, perfect for enjoying the beautiful countryside and the tranquility.
Also a large playing field/meadow, where the more sporty can let their energy run free. Many games can be borrowed on site.
We welcome you to come and stay at our guest house for a week, a weekend or just a night. It is entirely up to you! Whatever you choose, you will not be disappointed!
