Casas das Pedras comprises 2 separate holiday homes each having a double and a twin bedroom. They are situated at the edge of the village in an area known as the Pontinha or \' little headland \'. They are reached on foot by a path 200m from the village square. They are 20m above sea level with an uninterrupted spectacular 180 degree sea view over the Jardim do Mar surf break and along the coast to Paul do Mar. Facing West they enjoy spectacular sunsets and moonlight seascapes. Each house has a private sun terrace and they share a swimming pool and covered terrace for the exclusive use of guests staying at the two holiday homes. Built in 2006 they are owned by our grownup children and are offered for rental when not in use by them.
Casa das Pedras 1 is a two bedroom single storey house. Casa das Pedras 2 is a two bedroom two storey house. Adjoining Casa das Pedras 2 is another two bedroom house which is available to let with Casa das Pedras 2 to provide accommodation for up to 8 people.

Jardim do Mar , Madeira , Portugal
The small village of Jardim do Mar looks out to sea at the foot of spectacular cliffs. Just 45 minutes’ drive from the airport on the sunny southwest-facing shore, this tranquil unspoilt village of old stone houses and cobbled footpaths is considered to be one of the most beautiful on the island. It has a small hotel, 2 friendly bars, a restaurant, and a village shop. A new car park at the edge of the village leaves the square largely free of cars, and there is a seafront pedestrian promenade lined with palm trees. The little harbour has a clean pebble beach for swimming and snorkelling, with a shower and beach bar. The next village Calheta (5 min. drive) has a busy marina, a sandy bathing beach, shops and several more restaurants. Whale and dolphin watching or fishing excursions can be arranged from Calheta. Some of the island\'s finest scenery and walking are within a 20 minute drive into the mountains.
