Completely isolated on the edge of the Cretan mountain village Schinokapsala for a long or short stay during the summer and winter. Thanks to the ubiquitous floor heating suitable for wintering. In summer the wind and awnings provide shade on the large terraces around the house. The house is completely surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens on different levels. The total area is 4000 m². On the ground floor there is a large entrance hall, bathroom with toilet and shower, a large utility room with washing machine, refrigerator and freezer. The living area (60 m²) has a large dining room and a fitted kitchen with dishwasher. The living room with fireplace provides, thanks to the large sliding windows, a beautiful view of the surroundings. The patio runs along the entire ground floor. Outside there is also a large barbecue place. The first floor has a master bedroom with a large balcony and an adjoining bathroom. There are 2 large bedrooms (with a shared balcony) and a bathroom. Every room has a large built-in closet with ample storage space. All windows have electric shutters.

The house is south facing and offers a breathtaking, unobstructed panorama of the Libyan Sea, including views of five coves, as well as the coast of the neighbouring island Koufonissi. The north side of the property offers an additional unobstructed view of the Thripti mountains, the highlight being the tallest peak on southeast Crete, Stavromenes, which is 1577 metres above sea level. The region is ideal for hicking because there are plenty of paths. A short twelve minute drive takes you to the coastline, where there are a couple of small beaches, perfect for swimming.

In the village, a five minute walk away, one finds a small, original Kafenion, (typical Cretan coffee house), which is the heart of the local society.
