When you arrive to \"La Rovaia\" you feel liberated by the thoughts that haunt us every day, like a miracle. This home inspires a sense of serenity, thanks to the green and the landscape surrounding it. The Monte Grappa, one of the most significant mountain in our history (we fought during the First World War), dominates the view and seems to want to protect. Life in the house helps, thanks to its interior layout, life is friendly and privacy. In the large living room and kitchen where they are living, we are all together, even if everyone does something different. Who prepares the food is, however, with those who listen to music or watch television and talk cross from one side of the room, creating joy and communication between all. In winter the fireplace lights up in the morning and leave off before going to bed; is often used for cooking on the grill, which is always fun. In hot weather, instead we use the outdoor fireplace, specially created for outdoor cooking and spices such as sage, rosemary, oregano, basil and mint are all at your fingertips. During this time you can eat on the covered terrace where a large table can accommodate a large number of people. For art lovers there is plenty of choice. Asolo, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, loved by Browning, and Eleonora Duse by many intellectuals: to visit the Cathedral with works by Lorenzo Lotto and Jacopo da Ponte, the Civic Museum, the Rock. Walk under the arcades, a coffee in the Bar Centrale. In September there is a festival of classical music. Every second Sunday of the month, then an antiques market and many other activities. Just an hour away are Venice, Padua, Vicenza, Belluno, Feltre; many of these places are also connected by train, just choose the departure station, the closest are the train stations of Cornuda, Montebelluna or Castelfranco Veneto). Half an hour from Bassano del Grappa (famous for the Old Bridge and for being the town of \"Grappa\" the liquor) and Castelfranco Veneto.

Wie durch ein Wunder verflüchtigen sich alle unangenehmen Gedanken, die einen im Alltag belasten, sobald man beim Ferienhaus „La Rovaia“ ankommt. Dieses Haus versprüht eine Art Heiterkeit, dank dem Grün und dem Panorama, die es umgeben. Der Monte Grappa, einer der bedeutendsten Berge unserer Geschichte (hier kämpfte man während des 2. Weltkriegs), beherrscht den Ausblick und vermittelt einen beschützenden Eindruck. Die Beschaffenheit und die Ausstattung des Hauses fördern das Zusammenleben und die Gemeinschaft, zugleich bleibt aber noch genug Raum für Privatsphäre. Der große Aufenthaltsraum, wo sich sowohl Küche als auch Wohnzimmer befinden, fördert das Miteinander, auch wenn jeder seiner eigenen Beschäftigung nachgeht. Wer auch immer gerade das Essen zubereitet, Musik hört oder fernsieht – alle haben genug Platz in diesem großen Raum, der zu Fröhlichkeit und Kommunikation untereinander anregt. Während der kalten Jahreszeit wird mithilfe des großen Kamins morgens geheizt, vor dem Schlafengehen lässt man das Feuer einfach erlöschen. Oft wird er auch zum Grillen benutzt – immer eine schmackhafte und unterhaltsame Angelegenheit! Während der warmen Jahreszeit hingegen wird der Grill außerhalb des Hauses benutzt, genau richtig um im Freien zu kochen, wo Salbei, Rosmarin, Oregano, Basilikum und Minze zur Hand sind. In den warmen Monaten kann man auf der überdachten Terrasse speisen, wo ein großer Tisch vielen Personen Platz bietet. Naturliebhabern bieten sich zahlreiche Wanderwege auf den Monte Grappa und in der hügeligen Landschaft. Kunstinteressierte haben ebenfalls die Qual der Wahl. Nach nur einstündiger Fahrt erreicht man Venedig, Padua, Vicenza, Belluno oder Feltre. Viele dieser Ziele sind auch mit dem Zug erreichbar, der am nächst gelegene Bahnhof ist Cornuda, danach Montebelluna oder Castelfranco. Possagno, Heimatort des neoklassizistischen
