Where the Messara with its olive-, orange- and lemon-trees segues from lowlands into mountains you can discover the small, restful village Plora. At the end of the village you can find our country house with a beautiful garden and its cosy ins and outs for your relaxation. The house is situated at an exposed location on a hill. You live in spacious premises, two rooms equipped with a chimney, kitchen, shower, WC and washing machine you have at your disposal. In front of the living area there is a terrace with a magnificent view of the Messara with its olive groves and the Ida Mountains, especially the well known 'Psiloritis'. You need 15 minutes to go to the beach with the car. Komo, one of the most beautiful beaches of Crete spreads over several miles of the south coast.

Plora is a small village with about 200 inhabitants. It is situated 20 km from Matala and 20 km from Lentas. You reach this village in roundabout 45 minutes driving from Heraklion to the south direction (Matala, Mires...). After 45 km you reach Agia Deka. 300m behind the village (Gortys) you turn left heading for Lentas. You pass through three more villages until you arrive in Plora.
