La Herradura might be the most beautiful bay at the Costa del Sol and was not hit by masstourism yet. During summertime many spanish guests come to visit and on the peninsula across the bay many "Foreigners" have their beautiful holiday homes. The village nearby called " Almunecar" was used as a harbour and fortress by the old Phönicians and will be a great place to go to for shopping, eating and hanging out in various nice bars and restaurants. Trips to Nerja(the caves), Granada, Malaga and Gibraltar are great attractions too.
