Beautiful villa set on the slopes of Pratomagno, a tranquil and panoramic location in the heart of the Upper Arno Valley. The villa has a spectacular view of the valley where olive groves and vineyards nestle together. Its location is equidistant from Siena, Florence and Arezzo, three of the most important art cities in Tuscany, all reachable by car in an hour. Nearby, along the ancient Via dei Sette Ponti, you’ll come across many small towns rich with history, Roman churches and Medieval villages. About two kilometers away is the town of Loro Ciuffenna which has maintained much of its ancient Medieval castle aspect and yet has shops and services of all kinds. The house has an ample garden with lawn furniture, a 6 x 12 x 1,40-meter swimming pool, and covered parking for three cars. Since the white road that leads to Villino Blu is private only for the guests. The house is nicely furnished, comfortable and equipped with satellite TV. Videorecorder, DVD, Playstation2, Internet HI-SPEED GROUND FLOOR: has a spacious and sunny living room with a queen size sofa bed, the kitchen/dining area leads off to a furnished patio suitable for dining outdoors, double bedroom and a bathroom with a shower. There is just one word to describe the accommodation: PERFECT !!!!! It is a stunning place to stay. We had a very warm welcome of the owner and if there was any problem he always was there to solve it (to be honest there were nearly no problems to solve at all). Loro Ciuffenna , Arezzo , Tuscany , Italy

The territory on the Village of Loro, ever changing and charming in its natural landscapes, shows the sign of a human settlement of medieval origins perfectly integrated with the surrounding environment. The fortified castle of Loro is situated on a sunny coast straight down the Ciuffenna stream that in this point flows in a deep rocky gorge. The centre was based on a crossing axis that originated from its gates, one of which used to be upstream of the still visible medieval bridge, the other by another bridge on a stream that does not exist anymore. The part of the built area situated upstream was dominated by the castle, the one downstream was made up of a dense cluster of buildings. There are numerous architectural traces dating back to the Middle Ages; for instance mention is made of the Church of S. Maria Assunta of the 13th century and the characteristic Romanesque bridge with the typical pointed stone arcade. Near the Town-hall there is the Venturino Venturi Museum, after the sculptor and painter born in Loro on 1918. The museum was opened in 1993 and gathers both paintings and sculptures, some inspired by war events and others by the local cultures and the land of Loro, which Venturino wanted to pay homage to.
