Indulgence Divine is a vacation rental for two situated in the ancient maritime city of Vittoriosa, Malta. The restored 450 year old townhouse with its mix of contemporary design and history makes for a perfect romantic holiday pad. Wake up to the beautifully illustrated bed canopy in what used to be the house chapel, prepare your breakfast in the icewhite kitchen pod, and have it in the spacious dining room or, if the whim takes you, out on the private roof terrace. It can't possibly get more romantic... Oh yes, forgot to mention the enticingly curvaceous double shower, for when things get really hot!

Indulgence Divine is situated in the Collacchio area, a confined place where only the Knights were allowed to enter. All but one of the old Auberges of the Order are located in this area. The road itself is named after the first Inquisitor of the islands - Fabio Chigi who later became a Pope. Indulgence Divine is a ten minute walk from some of the yachts of the rich and powerful in the Marina where various restaurants and cafes can be found. Within short walking distance is the War in Malta museum as well as the Palace of the Inquisitor. A 15 minute bus journey takes you to Valletta, Malta's capital city.

When the maritime Knights Hospitaller arrived in Malta in 1530, the settlement next to the Grand Harbour - then known as Borgo, meaning suburb (to Fort St Angelo) - became their city of choice. The Hospitallers adopted the town, fortifying and embellishing it. Following the Great Siege of 1565, it was bestowed with the name Vittoriosa. Although World War II destroyed considerable chunks of Vittoriosa, today its blueprint remains unchanged with Auberges, Palaces and churches dating from the time of the Order’s arrival, to their post- Siege move to Valletta.arrival and distances
