This comfortable family house is set in a beautiful private complex of just 6 villas, enjoying fantastic views of the countryside and sea. It is 5 min walk to the best sandy beach in the Bodrum area, close to the small fishing village of Gündogan. It has a pretty dining terrace overlooking the shared pool and landscaped gardens. Downstairs there is a lounge, dining area and open-plan kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, large fridge, cooking utensils and crockery. The ground floor has a separate toilet with shower. Upstairs are three comfortable air conditioned bedrooms, each sleeping two people. The master bedroom has a balcony with excellent sea view. The fully tiled bathroom has a shower, washing machine and plenty of hot water. There is a large roof terrace with excellent sea view, ideal for dining, relaxing and sunbathing. This is a very quiet and picturesque area. It’s 15 mins to Bodrum town centre and 35 mins to Bodrum airport.

Gundogan also known as Farilya in antiquity (meaning sunrise) is said to be one of the most desirable holiday destinations on the Bodrum Peninsula. The village remains very Turkish. There is a handful of shops, two internet cafes, and a selection of restaurants and bars. Many of these are directly on the seafront or build on jetties into the sea. Seafood is a speciality but there are also many small Turkish restaurants serving traditional cuisine. There is a market selling local produce and food, clothes and household items on Wednesdays. There are at least 3 pharmacies selling over the counter medicines and several doctors and a dentist nearby. There is a post office which offers cheap international phone calls and many telephone booths. Cows graze happily at the side of the streets, life progresses at a relaxed pace while sailors and windsurfers enjoy the sea breezes in the bay. Gundogan is a centre for sailing and there is a small marina and harbour where the local fishing boats are moored. Boat trips to local coves and beaches are available from Gundogan. You can also, in season, get a ferry from Gundogan to Didim (near Altinkum) on the other side of the bay and watch dolphins and seals as they swim alongside the boat. Sailing can be organised in conjunction with the sailing school in Gundogan - English speaking instructors, tennis and horseriding are available nearby. Gundogan is a good base for touring the Bodrum Peninsula and beyond. Public transport is plentiful and cheap, alternatively hire a car and venture further afield. Gundogan is only 40 minutes from Bodrum Milas (BJV) airport and only 20 minutes from the town of Bodrum. Bodrum a shopper's paradise and cosmopolitan all year round holiday . Haggle for 14 carat gold, leather goods or (fake) designer clothes at a fraction of UK prices. Or alternatively take the ferry to Kos for the day, or down to Marmaris. Bodrum caters for everybody of every age. Explore the castle, the mausoleum and museums. Bodrum is steeped in history dating back to eleventh century and the Knights of St John. Perhaps go to Ephesus or Pamukkale? We would be delighted to help organise any excursions for you. By day Bodrum bustles with activity, in and around the shops or by the harbour and marina. After dark, Bodrum comes alive with waterside restaurants and cafes, clubs and bars and of course Halikarnas …..the largest open-air club in Europe featuring top international artists and djs.

We can provide extra services for you. We can arrange airport transfers and car hire, where you will be met at Bodrum Airport by an English speaking driver and taken in a private car to the villa, where you will be introduced to the property manager (depending upon arrival time). The property manager will also be on hand during your staff, to answer any questions that you might have. Should you require a baby cot, please request at time of booking. Please email us for special offers and discounts. A deposit of 100 GBP is paid at time of booking to secure the villa for you, with the balance due no later than 6 weeks before departure. A breakages/damages deposit of 150 GBP is also due at this stage - this will be returned to you after you vacate the villa and return the keys to us. If there is anything in addition that you require, please do not hesitate to email us.
