This fully detached villa is surrounded only by quiet roads, faces a small forest park and has distant valley views from the top floor. This house is situated in a quiet residential area 5 minutes (2-3 km) drive to Torres Vedras centre where one finds all sorts of shopping facilities, restaurants and cafés. The house is located 20 minutes drive from beach of Santa Cruz, golf and closest surfing spots. Other beaches are located further south or north along the coast. Torres Vedras is a city and a municipality in the district of Lisbon which is approximately 50 km from Lisbon city centre. The village is located within 5 minutes of the motorways with links to North and South. This makes it very easy to get to Lisbon, Sintra, Mafra, Cascais and Lisbon airport. To the north the same motorway takes you to many popular places on the Silver Coast in less than an hour. The luxury villa is set in its own grounds of 1100 m2, with a built area of 250 m2. The villa is spread over two floors, however most of it is on the ground floor making it wheelchair friendly. Apart from a great outdoors, this villa boasts of a large indoors living space set on two floors. Most of the furniture is brand new as the villa has just been recently refurbished (October 2009). Santa Cruz covers an extended stretch of sand that is divided up into various beaches named after the respective cafes with the Beaches of Navio, Mirante, Pisão, Física, Centro, Santa Helena, Formosa and Azul. The purity of both the waters and sands here comes in addition to the surrounding picturesque landscapes and ensure that Santa Cruz is a highly popular tourist resort. To the far south, the Ponta da Vigia cliffs form a series of rocky outcrops among which the Penedo do Guincho boulder, standing 30 metres high and around 100 metres in circumference, is particularly impressive as it leads down to a vaulted area through which the sea pours. Marking these rocky surfaces are an odd set of terraces from which, on clear days, it is possible to take in sweeping panoramic views that extend as far as the Cabo Carvoeiro lighthouse and the Berlengas islands. With a range of support infrastructures including a swimming pool and an Olympic standard shooting range, the seasonal range of entertainment on offer here is rounded off by tourist flights operating out of the local aerodrome and events and concerts.
