This high class villa is situated near the Santa Teresa Monument , which was erected by ancestors of the current owners, in the village of Canhas. The large villa has open green spaces with Laurissilva trees from the indigenous forest and diverse stone objects which were used by previous inhabitants. Some of the utensils at your disposal are mills, a grape press, a spring and a large barbeque. Recently renovated and offering a luxury standard over 350 m² of living area, the house interior is decorated with century old English, Indo-Portuguese and Madeirien furniture, which is distributed throughout the five bedrooms, two of which have en-suite bathrooms; living-room and dining room. Property comprises 5 bedrooms (1 on the first floor, with satellite linked television and en-suite bathroom, and 4 bedrooms on the ground floor, one of which has an en-suite bathroom), a third bathroom, living-room with stone open fireplace, satellite TV, radio-CD and Playstation console, dining room, kitchen equipped with stove, electric oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator, coffee maker, ample green space with an orchard (approx. 1350 m²) and a stone barbecue. Since late 2010, the house has a 160 m2 solarium with access for people with limitations, which is embedded with a 27 m2 swimming pool and an outdoor Jacuzzi for 3 people. The pool is equipped with a thermostat that allows a water temperature of 25 °C when the outside temperature of 18 °C, as well as with a child security fence. Baby cot available free of charge. Child until 5 years of age stays free of charge (1 child per booking). Daily maid service included in price. Sleeps 2-10 persons, self catering.

It boasts breathtaking landscapes and encompasses the three parishes Ponta do Sol, Canhas and Madalena do Mar. Extended forests and the high plateau of Paúl da Serra are the highlights to visit in this area. Furthermore the council of Ponta do Sol offers excellent bathing conditions, although you won\'t find sand here... but a pebbled beach. The major beaches are those from Madalena do Mar, Anjos, Lugar de Baixo and Ponta do Sol.
