The villa is located in the countryside and fully south-facing and is only a five minute walk to the village of Frigiliana on a flat and surfaced road. There is a very large covered front terrace, a pool and barbecue terrace and another smaller terrace at the back of the house. The villa is surrounded by gardens and fruit trees, has a fence and gate.
It has two double bedrooms and two bathrooms with showers. One of the bedrooms is ensuite and has a large four poster bed. The other bedroom has two single beds and direct access to a small terrace outside. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans.
The kitchen is fully and completely equipped and has lots of counter space and storage space. There is a refrigerator/freezer, electric oven, electric hob, range hood, kettle, toaster, microwave oven, food mixer, juicer, coffee percolator, crockery and other kitchen utensils and wares. Next to the kitchen is a larder with extra storage and the washing machine.
The living and dining rooms are very spacious and have many large windows and doors which make the house cool and bright. There are ceiling fans in the living and dining rooms to keep extra cool during the hot summer months. There is satellite TV, CD/radio player with a selection of CDs, and pay-as-you-go internet.
The main terrace has a large table and chairs for eating outside. Around the pool area there are loungers (pool chairs) for lying and relaxing and a coal barbeque. As an added safety measure, the pool ladder can be removed to avoid children climbing into the pool. Pool diameter is 3.5 metres and depth is 1.2 metres.
The property is surronded by mature gardens with many fruit trees including banana, orange, lemon, grapefruit, limes, guava, melons, tomatoes and a herb garden. The property is completely fenced and gated.

The villa is perfectly located just a five minute walk to the village of Frigiliana. The villa has lovely views of the surrounding countryside and down the valley to the sea in the distance. The house is on the border with a natural park and the area is becoming well known for walking, hiking and trekking. The country lane that goes past the villa is actually a designated walking route and walkers are sometimes seen passing by throughout the year. The area is rich in wildlife. There are foxes, wild boar, eagles, many small mammals, birds and insects.

It is so easy to get to the village, it is probably best to leave the car at the villa, especially if you plan on having a lovely evening out in one of the excellent restaurants and bars. There are many god restaurants to choose from with local cuisine as well as a wide offering of international cuisine to choose from.
Frigiliana is considered to be one of the best preserved examples of Moorish architecture in the province of Malaga. This is evident in the narrow streets, the style of construction and the materials used. For its efforts in maintaining its cultural and historical past, the village has been awarded many prizes.
