The famous Sunday market at Mauer Park must not be missed and close by, the Mauer (Berlin wall) Museum on Bernauer Straße. Grunewald (German for Greenwood) is a German forest located in the western side of Berlin on the east side of the Havel, mainly in the Grunewald district. At 3,000 hectares it is the largest green area in the city of Berlin. Ideal for hiking, mountain biking, sailing and fishing.
