Villa Alexia is a spacious 3 bed villa, set on an intenational developement in the village of Gundogan. It is ideal for a family holiday since there are some super amenities of offer. The development has its own Olympic sized pool with a cafe and creperie restaurant, where there is occasional evening entertainment (in season). An adjacent childrens' pool, a childrens' play area, a well stocked market selling all essentials at supermarket prices, a beach bar with sunbeds and large cushions for relaxing upon and also very pleasant communal gardens and some of the most outstanding sea views to Rabbit Island in the bay of Gundogan and then further on to the lights of Altinkum. The large salon spans the width of the villa and is furnished with hand made wooden furniture. It is bright and cool with patio doors on two sides. There is tv, dvd and satelite, ample seating, a selection of books and dvds (in English) and also air conditioning to keep you cool. This room opens out on to another patio. The kitchen is fully equipped for 6 and has a large fridge/freezer and a full gas and electric cooker. This also leads on to a covered patio for dining in the shade with a built in bbq. The bedrooms are all bright, colourful and modern and each has its own air conditioning unit. The rooftop terrace gives panoramic views to the bay and the mountains. There are two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. The upstairs bathroom houses the washing machine that guests are welcome to use. Iron, ironing board and drying facilities are available.

Gundogan is about 40 minutes from the relatively new international airport of Bodrum Milas (BJV). Gundogan is an ideal base for house-hunting and it has become a very desirable area in which Europeans are buying holiday homes. It is only 30 mins from Bodrum, which is said to be a shopper's paradise. Come here and haggle for fake designer clothes, gold, leather, ceramics....genuine designer clothes at a fraction of the European prices. In Bodrum here are restaurants to suit every palate, clubs, bars, discos and the famous Halikarnas, the largest open-air nightclub in Europe. Visit the castle and the museums, travel further afield and visit Ephesus and Pamukkale.......whatever it is that you are looking for, Bodrum has it all and is waiting to extend its hospitality and welcome to you!!

Gundogan is a traditionally Turkish village which in summer becomes an international community. There is a selection of fish restaurants build on jetties in the bay and a few other Turkish restaurants in the village. Gundogan is a centre for watersports - there is a sailing school in the bay, and the offshore breezes are said to be unique here. It is quiet, rural and relaxed.....the perfect place to come and relax. You will be made to feel most welcome, the local people are extremely friendly and hospitable. There is a bus station here and a local minibus (dolmus) runs between here and the villa. You can also change here and take the bus through Torba and on in to Bodrum.
