Trulli Fico d'India is a very well refined complex of trulli and lamie with a private 12x6 meter swimming pool set in the Ceglie Messapica countryside. This luxury private residence has been perfectly renovated with an eye for preserving the historic Pugliese materials and details. The Trullo is composed of various trulli cones and a historic annex. The small trullo is composed of: - A grand living/dining area with lounge chairs and sofa with a tv area, - Fully-equipped and furnished kitchen/eating area, - 3 bedrooms with matrimonial beds (beds can be separated), one bedroom is a suite with a bath, - 1 bedroom with twin bed and two single beds (can be combined to form a queen sized bed), - 2 full bathrooms, 1 in the master suite, - Laundry and utility area. The outdoor area of Trulli Fico d'India offers an exquisite stone built dining area shaded by wooden pergolas poolside. The pool is surrounded by secular olive trees and well maintained greenery. The external area is surrounded by authentic Pugliese walls made of stones built one on top of the other without the use of mortar. The private pool in the trulli is only used by the guests of the vacation home. It is 12x6 meters with a depth of 80cm to around 2 meters. The area of Ceglie Messapica is located between the Murge and the Upper Salento: its typical elements include trulli, farms, lamie (typical southern single room square dwellings), rupestrian churches, carsic caves, dolinas, specchie and paretoni (remains of city walls), dry-stone walls, olive groves, vineyards, maquis shrub, ancient oak trees, cattle pastures and arable land. Numerous archaeological remains of the ancient Messapi civilization were found in Ceglie's area. It had four lines of walls, the inner one having a perimeter of 5 km. Balance is due cash at the beginning of holiday during the check-in with the manager, if you are not able to pay cash, you should pay the total amount by bank transfer or credit card with-in 30 days before your arrival (cheques and travellers cheque are never allowed). Please be sure to leave the house in good condition. No pets allowed. Final cleaning mandatory EUR 120. Intermediate cleaning mandatory for stay more than one week, extra paid. Arrival time is mandatory in the afternoon between 4pm and 8pm (unless otherwise agreed). At arrival later than 8pm an extra charge will be applied. Please advise us of your departure time at least 24 hours before. The check-out must be taken not later than 10 am. Electricity is billed by use at EUR 0,30 per KW/h.
