The newly renovated (with its size of 1200 sq feet) apartment can accomodate up to five persons. Although it is located downtown we can vouch for a peaceful sleeping ambience. There is a big living room with TV, a fully loaded kitchen with dinning place and a bathroom with tub and shower. Two double bed rooms and one single bed room are available, extra beds for children are available upon request. Further there is a 200 sq feet deck with a great view and a garden to rest. Bed linens and dishes are included in the price. Rebates for children are available upon request. Here you will find a family friendly atmosphere and children are welcome at anytime!

Stadtsteinach in the Frankonian Forest has about 3800 inhabitants and is a great place for you if you like hiking and to enjoy untouched nature. Our town is located centrally in Germany and can be reached for anybody by car within a couple of hours from anywhere in Germany, Austria and Czech Republic. Recreation: There are a city hall with bowling area, camping ground, solar heated public pool, tennis courts in- and outside, community college, a lovingly neat museum explaining the city's 850 years of history. About three kilometers off downtown you will find a small airfield from which flips can be made upon request. Hiking: Enjoy hiking in untouched nature and learn about the local flora and fauna. Skiing: In the winter time you can enjoy all kinds of snow sports in the near skiing areas of the Frankonian Forest and the Fichtelgebirge. Cross-country skiing trails are reticulated around Stadtsteinach for sportsmen from beginners to professionals. Infrastructure: Stadtsteinach has good shopping opportunities and social institutions like post office a hospital and several medical doctors. The next railway station is located four kilometers away from Untersteinach. The next regional airports are located in Bayreuth (35km) and Hof (50km). The next availalbe international airport in Nuremberg is about 100 kilometers away. Culture/Tradition: Stadtsteinach is a carnival stronghold for generations: The famous annual carnival event takes place every Sunday before the Monday before Lent. People from all over the region, the partner city of Leutenberg in Thuringia and even from foreign countries join this unique celebration. Just to name some of the associations in Stadtsteinach: There are the music club, singing club and the traditional shooters association, also a soccer and a tennis club.
