Buxy, 4 miles from Cersot, has all kinds of shops, bars, restaurants, wine cellars and supermarkets. The biggest supermarket is ATAC, close to the roundabout. There is a small supermarket as well in the village of Germagny, 4 miles from Moulin de la Canne. Markets Buxy: every Thursday morning Chalon: every Friday and Sunday morning St. Gengoux: every first and third Tuesday of the month Montchanin: every Wednesday morning Restaurants In de villages and tows in the area you find different types of restaurants: from 'haute cuisine' to steak frites, from pizzeria to pancakerestaurant. In the holidayhome is a list of restaurants with telephone numbers availible. Wine Buxy is surrounded by vineyards, that form the Côte Chalonnaise, in the south of the famous Côte d' Or. Montagny, a village between Cersot and Buxy, is famous for its white wine. Taste and buy wine ("Dégustation et vente du vin") in the "Cave coöperatives" of Buxy, Genouilly, St. Gengoux or Bissey sous Cruchaud. And of course in the many private wine cellars. For example off the 'Route des Vins', in the direction of Côte d' Or in Givry, Chagny, Mercurey or Beaune. Swimming, playing golf and tennis There are several lakes with beaches where you can swim and sunbathe, each about 20 till 30 minutes by car: at Montchanin le Haut: Etang Berthault at Julien sur Deune: Lac Montaubry with bar and pedal boats to rent at Sennecey le Grand: Lac de Laives; (there is an entrance fee) There are tennis courts and golf courts near Chalon-sur-Saône and Le Creusot.
