The Villa Mimosa is a beautiful, fully detached 6-person Villa with pool near the sea with a breathtaking view. The villa has a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean, the Greek island of Meyisti and several small Turkish islands. The villa is located in a lush vegetated valley near the picturesque town of Kas on the magnificent Turkish coast. The Villa Mimosa has a large, thriving private garden of 600 m2. The house has a swimming pool (12 x 4.5 M), which will be dealt with our British neighbours. At the swimming pool you will find sun loungers and parasols available. There is a large balcony with Turkish loungers and a breathtaking view. Below is a veranda with a large dining table and barbecue, where you can enjoy the food and the magnificent view, on the other side of the house is a shady terrace with lounge seatings and a big sultanbed. Villa Mimosa has a large living room with fireplace and TV, an open kitchen and a toilet. The room has a lot of light because of the five large doors leading to the two terraces. The open kitchen is fully equipped. There is a stove with four burners, a microwave, a refrigerator, a freezer, a dishwasher and washing machine. In addition, a coffeemaker, a kettle, kitchen utensils, dishes, etc. present. The upstairs floor has, apart from the large hall, three bedrooms. There are three small bathroom equipped with shower or bath. In warm weather it's nice that both the living room as well as the three bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning. The villa is child friendly. There is a grid between the villa and the swimming pool as well as between the villa and the road. There are a high chair, a cot and child blankets available. Villa Mimosa is 200 meters from the sea, which can be reached via stairs or by the street. The sea is very clean and has a beautiful blue to turquoise green color. The villa is 5 kilometers from the center of Kas. You can use a dolmus (minibus) easy to achieve. This van runs regularly until midnight on the street that runs 50 meters above the house, and holds onto your hand signals down. Our English speaking housekeeper brings you fresh bread every morning ( "ekmek"), and is available for questions and support. Purchases can be made in the village or order by phone at a supermarket. In the villa is an information folder about Kas and its surrounding areas.

Kas, which was discovered in the '70s by the hippies, is a small, picturesque town with an authentic, Turkish, carefree atmosphere. It lies on the southern coast of Turkey on a beautiful bay and is surrounded by the impressive Taurus Mountains. The coast is bizarre and there are numerous small islands. The picturesque Ottoman architecture, ancient monuments and whitewashed facades are a magnificent backdrop for the lavish expenses for tourists in the narrow and sometimes steep streets. You will find here antique shops, boutiques and jewelers, carpets, textiles, glass and pottery, in addition to beautiful terraces and a tea garden. The evenings in Kas are atmospheric with good (fish) restaurants, bars and terraces. The former fishing village has an atmospheric port where the tour boats compete for a place with diving boats and the increasing number of yachts. In Kas you find the remains of the ancient Lycian as well as the Greek / Roman culture. In the center there is a Lycian sarcophagus, a monument whose text has not yet been deciphered. There is also a Hellenistic theater on the peninsula near the sea, where in summertime performances will be held. Kas is an excellent starting point for excursions and activities. The village is located in a central location on many ancient and interesting cultural attractions and is surrounded by beautiful nature and the clean, clear sea, with many sporting facilities.

Trips: With a car you can in one day visit the ruins of ancient Myra (interesting because of the Lycian rock tombs), the St. Nikolas Basilica of Demre (the tomb of Saint Nicholas), the waterfall between Kas and Kalkan and the beautiful canyon of Saklikent. Lovers of ancient buildings should look at the ruins of Tlos. To the west of Kas are still remnants of the ancient Lycian city of Xanthos, in Patara and Letoon (the birthplace of Saint Nicholas). Also worth is a trip to Kalkan. If you love nature, then you will enjoy a visit of the hinterland of Kas (the villages Gömbe / Kasaba) very much. Something very special is a boat trip along the beautiful, untouched coastline. A (glass) boat trip to the sunken Byzantine city of Kekova and the Lycian tombs is also beautifull. The Greek island Meyísti is located directly across from Kas. You can visit these colorfull island by boat. If you want to be active in sports in your holiday, Kas offers you the following: Watersports: The very rocky coast of Kas is a popular destination for divers. Nearby there are several excellent diving and snorkeling sites. There are opportunities to explore caves or wrecks by diving. There are nofewer than 20 dive schools! One can also rent sea kayaks or canoes. Kas is a popular mooring for the Blue Cruise ships and sailors. Paragliding , Mountaineering and Hiking: Kas is an excellent point in order to fly from the Taurus Mountains by paragliding (the second best city in Turkey). Mountaineering can be found in the Saklikentschlucht and mountain biking is a popular sport. For hikers, it is also a fantastic area. The first Turkish long-distance path, the more than 2000 years old Lycian pathway runs along Kas.
