The holiday home Krabbenpadd 24a is located about 10 minutes' walk from the beach, harbour and village centre in a very quiet location. The Cliner Quelle spa centre is only 400m away. There is a lot to do here for relaxation as well as for children. And that in all weathers!
The house consists of a ground floor, an upper floor and a converted attic. There is room for up to 4 adults in two double rooms and one single room. You are also welcome to bring your pet. You can park your car in the house's own parking space. Free WLAN/Internet is available in the entire house.
As this is a terraced end house, you have your own entrance and your own terrace with garden furniture, so you will not be disturbed by other guests.
There is a guest toilet on the ground floor and a bathroom with bathtub and washing machine on the first floor.
The kitchen is separate, with dining area and fully equipped.

schönes Objekt, leider sehr dreckig.
Was gut war, die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer. Leider war die Unterkunft was die Sauberkeit betrifft eine Katastrophe (kein Toilettenpapier, Toilettenbürste stark verunreinigt, keine geordnete Küchenausstattung und verschmutzt, Spinnen im gesamten Objekt, usw.). Alles in einem die Wohnung wurde schon über einen längeren Zeitraum nicht mehr richtig gereinigt.
Sollte sich der Eigentümer nicht mal um eine andere Reinigungskraft kümmern wird das Objekt in Zukunft nicht mehr vermittelbar sein.

Der Verwalter und die Reinigungskraft wurden Anfang 2023 gewechselt, es wird in Zukunft keine Probleme mehr mit der Reinigung geben. Zudem wurden sämtliche Möbel modernisiert.

Hier stimmt nichts
Die Ausstattung ist Alt und die Sauberkeit lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Überall in den Ecken Spinnenweben, auf den ganzen Lampen und auf den Türrahmen dick der Staub. Vor allem das Abluftrohr in der Küche ist der Hammer, bei dem Anblick vergeht einem der Appetit. Essensreste noch an Küchenutensilien.
Alle Schränke riechen voll nach Muff, vor allem der Wohnzimmerschrank, den man sich schon gar nicht traut zu öffnen, da dieser sonst zusammenfallen könnte. Im Badezimmer neben der Waschmaschine scheint auch schon länger nicht mehr gewischt worden zu sein. Schimmel unter der Duschabtrennung. Kissen im Schlafzimmer ein Witz. Der Toaster von unten total angeschmort. Terrasse ist voller Unkraut, aus der Hecke und den Beeten wuchert das Unkraut. Schirmständer und Sonnenschirm sind auch der reinste Witz. Preis/Leistung ist ein regelrechter Witz!

Urlaub mit Hund
Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub und es hat uns gut gefallen. Einzig der Garten war für unseren Hund (Ausbrecherkönig) nicht ganz ausbruchsicher, wie das Törchen aufging hatte er auch schnell raus. :)

1A location, 1A tranquillity,1A facilities,1A price,- performance
We were a little sceptical due to the few and somewhat older reviews before booking the house, but this turned out to be completely unfounded immediately after arrival and the handover of the keys by the manager!
We were immediately very enthusiastic about the location as well as the equipment of the house and will try to get this house on our further visits! Especially for dog owners, the completely fenced and large terrace is highly recommended. The furnishings are also beautiful and the most important thing is that nothing is missing, as far as appliances like the fridge are concerned, this one offers enough space, so it is not a "single" fridge. What some people might miss is a dishwasher, but that was not important to us personally, as we were always out of the house to eat anyway. But then there is a washing machine, certainly not wrong!
The only thing that can be mentioned negatively is the distance information, this information with 800 metres to the beach is certainly not correct, 800 metres as the crow flies may come close but in fact it is 1.6 kilometres, measured while jogging with a fitness watch, so from the entrance door Krabbenpadd 24a to the beach!
One suggestion for improvement: as many houses in the neighbourhood already have, fly screens in front of the windows would be a good thing! And then we noticed something on the last day, after our travel hairdryer had given up its "ghost", we didn't find a hairdryer that belonged to the house!
But as mentioned at the beginning, we would recommend the holiday home 100%, as we didn't really lack anything there and everything in general is 1A!

Superferien zu Zweit
Einfach toll von A-Z. Stimmig eingerichtet, sehr sauber, gut und persönlich betreut, freundliche Atmosphäre, umgeben von wunderschöner Natur, etwas ab vom großen Rummel. Im Haus war wirklich alles vorhanden, was wir benötigt haben. Die fehlende Spülmaschine hat uns auch kaum gestört, da wir fast immer Fisch essen waren.
Die Bilder stimmen, es sieht tatsächlich so aus. Wir hatten eine schöne und erholsame Zeit zu Zweit. Zudem hatten wir ein Sonderangebot bekommen, der Preis war unschlagbar!

free time activities: Für schlechtes Wetter gibt es die Cliner Quelle, die nur 500m entfernt ist. Ansonsten hat man natürlich die tolle Nordsee zum Spazieren oder man macht eine Überfahrt zu einer der Inseln oder eine Wattwanderung.
shopping facilities: Es gibt einen Edeka in ca 1km Entfernung. In direkter Nähe (2min zu Fuß) gibt es zwei Fischhändler (Albrecht und Janssen)

Nettes Ferienhaus
Wir waren 1 Woche dort zu Gast. Das Haus ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet (gute Matratzen im Doppelbett -andere Betten haben wir nicht benutzt- und bequeme Couch im Wohnzimmer). Die Terasse ist ausreichend groß. Die Sauberkeit ließ etwas zu wünschen übrig (Bad und hinter den Türen). Sehr netter Eigentümer, zum Vermietungsservice hatten wir außer Schlüssel abholen und abgeben keinen Kontakt. Das ständige "Klacken" der Heizung nervt besonders Nachts ein wenig. Alles in Allem ein nettes Haus, wobei ich mich bei regulärem Preis etwas geärgert hätte.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Sehr ruhig gelegen, obwohl dennoch zentral. Kurzer Weg zum Restaurant, Bäcker, Ort. Morgentliches Brötchenholen entlang der Harle macht Spass.
free time activities: Entsprechend der Region, was der Nordsseurlauber erwartet.
shopping facilities: Alles in der Nähe und mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten erreichbar.Zum Bäcker 10 Fußminuten, zum Restaurant keine 5 Minuten.

Gepflegtes Haus mit allem was man braucht
Wir haben im August 2011 unseren Urlaub in diesem Haus verbracht und sind durchweg zufrieden. Unser Schäferhund hat sich genauso wohl gefühlt wie unsere beiden Kids...
Leider hat das Wetter bei uns nicht immer mitgespielt, aber im Haus gibt es genug Alternativen, um sich zu beschäftigen. Es ist wirklich alles vorhanden, bis auf einen Geschirrspüler. Aber den haben wir auch nicht so wirklich vermisst.
Die Umgebung ist wie beschrieben sehr sehr ruhig.
