This carefully restored house, consisting of the main house and two apartments, is situated in the old part of Torredembarra. The center, with its beautiful square, its pubs, restaurants and shops, is only 150 away. A little grocery shop is just in front and the car park is 150 m away. Loading and unloading is possible in front of the house. The distance to the beach is 1 km and to the train station 800 m. The house and apartments were carefully restored in 2003 with a lot of style. In the main house the most significant elements of the old building, such as the wooden ceiling and the stone walls, were respected. Tiled floors. Furnished terrace. Central heating. The two apartments are located in the neighbouring building. They are equipped with new furniture in light friendly colours. The house and the two apartments all have TV. No additional costs. The final cleaning can be done by the clients or by the organisation for a fee of 20 €. Blankets and towels can be brought by the clients or rented for a fee of 9 € per person. There is a deposit of 200 € per apartment and main house respectively. For the entire complex the deposit is 400 €. No pets permitted. Main house The house has 3 1/2 rooms on 3 levels and is 80 m2. Entrance through a big hall on the ground floor, which is appropriate for group activities. Stair to the first floor.: Rustic cosy living-/diningroom with a double bedcouch. Diningtable for 12 persons, open kitchen with ceramic hob, washing machine. Exit to a little terrace. Separate WC. From the living-room another stair leads to the gallery with a double-bed (1,60 m). Exit to the furnished terrace. Bathroom with half tub and WC and 1 bedroom with two beds. Apartment 1 2-room-apartment on the first floor of the neighbouring house. 50 m2. Access over staircase or passage from the mainhouse. TORREDEMBARRA The fishermen's and tourist village of Torredembarra (10 000 inhabitants) with its beautiful old center, is situated in the heart of Costa Dorada, 12 km north from Tarragona and 80 km south from Barcelona. The old part with its picturesque corners, plazas, cafés and shops is situated on a hill and constitutes the center. Near the beach there is the old fishermen's quarter with the beach promenade, restaurants and cafés and the elegant sporting-port (sailing, sailing-school, waterski, boat-rent etc.) with its variety of restaurants and music-pubs. The huge beaches with its fine sand extend over a length of 7 km. They are partly protected as a natural reserve with dunes and are a paradise for water-birds. Torredembarra is a good point of departure for trips to Barcelona, Tarragona and the themepark Port Aventura.
