The holiday house is situated in Tavordo, a district of Porlezza. Tavordo is on the way between Lugano and Menaggio (Lake of Como) and has a few hundred inhabitants. The picturesque, less touristic place offers a bar and a small grocery store. Public beaches and shops are 10 minutes by feet far away in Porlezza.The approx. 60 square meter large house is modern and newly furnished. It has a terrace and a large garden, which is shared by the nice owners, who live directly next door. For your car a carport is available. The entrance to the house and to the carport is locked. Christina is a photographer and has furnished the house with much love for the detail. Her husband Sandro maintains the beautiful garden, which can be shared also by the guests.It is a very peaceful and quiet locationLarge living room with wood stove and a terrace with view over the garden, fully-equipped fitted kitchen and dining area, on the first floor one bedroom (1 double bed, 1 crib for kids up to 3 years, additionally large sleeping couch in the living room), bath with bathing tub, toilet and bidet. The washing machine is in the cloakroom situated in the owners’ cellar for free use.Right in Tavordo small bar and grocery store – all other shopping facilities, restaurants, taverns, pizza-restaurants, two golf courts, tennis courts, night-clubs and discotheques in only a few kilometers distance.

Porlezza is situated 40 km north of Como, 282 m above sea level on the easterly side of Lake Lugano, the Italian side. The town - known as the "Pearl of the Ceresio" lies at an important route, leading from Bellinzona and Lugano to the valley of Menaggio. Because of its strategic location, Porlezza has a very rich history, where the antique castle played a decisive role in martial, religious, artistic (e.g. the family "Della Porta") and economic (the famous glass manufacturers) events.
