The Bungalow Vanille is a detached bungalow surrounded with tropical plant and bird life. It has one loft style bedroom with double bed, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower and a large veranda. The bungalow is fully air-conditioned 24 hours a day. Maid service twice a week and laundry and ironing service once a week is also included. All guests have free access to the pool belonging to the residence. The Bungalow Vanille is located near La Preneuse in the Black River district, a five minute walk away from La Preneuse Beach. Also within walking distance there is a well stocked supermarket, bus stop, a variety of restaurants, ATM/cash point, pharmacy and a shopping centre. We offer free airport transfers to all our guests.

Close to Tamarin the Casela Nature Reserve spread out towards the mountains, with 14 hectares of abundant tropical flora and fauna. The tranquil Le Morne peninsula is located a short drive to the south, and to the north there is the lively village of Flic-en-Flac with numerous bars and restaurants.

The Bungalow Vanille is located near La Preneuse, approximately 3km south of the village of Tamarin. Within walking distance you will find the quiet La Preneuse Beach where you can take a dip or just enjoy the beautiful sunsets over the Le Morne horizon. Nearby is the famous Martello Tower - one of the best preserved defensive fortifications in Mauritius. Also within walking distance there is a variety of restaurants serving creole as well as international cuisine.
