VilaLusitana comprises two floors. At the entrance hall on the top floor you find an informationdesck with PC and free internetacces. The hall leads into the dining room and kitchen. The dining room seats 18 , and opens onto a large terrace. Every morning a breakfast buffet is served in the dining room . The adjoining fully fitted kitchen has all modern appliances. Washing machine/ dryer/ hob/ oven/ dishwasher/ microwave/ fridge/ freezer/ espresso machine Vilalusitana has 6 twin bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms.All rooms open onto the large terrace with ample terrace furniture. This terrace is ideal for al fresco dining. All bedrooms have a small seat (or a third single bed) and a desk with TV and CD player. Some bedrooms have telephone and an ADSL line for computer connection. Lounge and bedrooms open onto a partly covered terrace on pool level. Both terraces enjoy fantastic sea views. The recently landscaped garden (2004) has a large heated swimming pool (10 x 5 mtr.) and a nice BBQ area.

Carvoeiro has something to offer everyone, tempting golf courses on which international tournaments are played, superb tennis and riding, and every watersport you can think of. Walk through the busy local markets to choose from traditionally- made handicrafts such as matgrass baskets and rugs, beautiful hand-painted pottery and tiles, beaten copperware and intricate bobbin-lace. At night visit one of the many bars, or simply sit outside beneath the stars and sample some freshly-caught seafood. Carvoeiro is a bright, lively sea-side resort during the summer season with a rich selection of , restaurants and night-spots catering to a variety of tastes. There is plenty of live music on offer during the season .The beach is located in the centre of the town that more or less spreads itself in a semicircle around it. Though it can become a little crowded at the height of summer, there are a number of beautiful secluded coves and beaches in the immediate vicinity, some of which are only accessible by boat – boat trips along the coast are scheduled several times a day during the summer months.Recommended is the short boat trip eastwards along the Estrada do Farol to the Praia de Centianes, another spectacular beach and well worth the visit.In the winter, Carvoeiro retains its pleasant, welcoming atmosphere and reverts to the ambiance of the quiet fishing village it once was until, perhaps only about 30 years ago.
