Elegantly furnished in Provençal style, the Cannes vacation villa is on two levels (garage parking, laundry and wine cellar are in the basement). The flooring is white travertine marble throughout and there is an internal walled garden with a dining terrace which is spotlit at night under a giant umbrella palm. The entrance hall, the sitting room, the dining room, the study, the kitchen and the guest toilet are on the ground floor. There are three bedrooms on the second floor of this French Riviera holiday villa: a master bedroom with its own large balcony. It is furnished with a Queen size bed, adjoins an ensuite bathroom and a dressing room,. There are two further bedrooms with two single beds in each, a second bathroom and a separate toilet. This Cannes vacation home sleeps six in comfort and style. Amenities include wide-screen satellite TV, DVD and VCR, Music Centre (CD, Tape, Radio), Wi-Fi ADSL (2048Kb) and an international telephone connection. Unsually close to the centre of town for a villa in Cannes, this Cote d'Azur property rental is just 50 meters from the beach, yet situated in a quiet, residential neighbourhood directly opposite the Collège International de Français which teaches French to foreign students all the year round in the beautifully restored 19th century buildings of the Fondation Santa Maria. The complex includes a historical chapel and occupies an entire city block right down to the sea. After the hectic spring and summer months, Cannes offers our vacationers a different festival every month from October through to April: mimosa, music, dance as well as antiques fairs and the attractions of regular weekly markets. On a sunny day you can take a break for lunch at a beach restaurant just minutes away from your Cannes conference accommodation and soak up the sun under clear, blue skies, between the turquoise of the sea and the snow-capped, white pre-Alpine peaks surrounding Nice. Traffic is normally light at this time of the year and shopping along the rue d'Antibes and the la Croisette is great, the nightlife is varied and the majority of the restaurants are open with enclosed glass areas for dining right by the sea. Life can be wonderful... If you are attending any of the annual international conferences and exhibitions held in Cannes (MIDEM, MILIA, GSM, MIPIM, MIPTV, Cannes Film Festival, Publicity and Advertising, MIPCOM, TAX FREE, GARTNER, MAPIC) at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrés - our Cannes French Riviera villa rental is the place for you! If you want to walk to the beach, the restaurants, the Forville flower and produce market in the Old Town, and browse the elegant shops along rue d'Antibes and la Croisette, yet have a French seaside villa holiday - then there is no better place to be... "The Côte d'Azur belongs to all those who dream of it". It is beaches, luxury hotels and sun-drenched towns. It loves nightlife, cinema, glitter and roulette, being under in the limelight, while protecting its natural environment. It also elegantly dons the latest creations from haute couture while jogging in a white sweat suit at dawn. It revels in the maze of streets of its perched villages, hikes on mountain peaks flirting with the sky… "canyoneers" in white water. It can be theatrical, adores opera and putting on a show… before strolling, holding a bouquet of fresh-cut flowers, in the aisles of a colourful market. The French Riviera… is as you like it: eternal.

Le Vieux Port - The "Old Port" and the Quai St. Pierre. Here you'll find fishing and working boats side-by-side with large luxury sail and motor yachts. The fishermen work on their nets next to these colorful and impressive vessels. On the pier Albert Edouard you'll see moored some of the most beautiful yachts in the world. Looking out to sea there are the islands of Ste. Marguerite and St. Honorat, accessible by the many excursion boats within approximately 20 minutes. Gare Maritime - Cannes' inner harbor is a unforgettable place to stroll and view the luxury yachts, as well as the many fishing and working boats. There are many sailing and diving boats moored here available for day charter. Along the Croisette and right on the beach you'll find many excellent restaurants with open-air seating. La Croisette - One of the most famous promenades in the world. For three kilometers (just under 2 miles) following the curve of the bay, there are flowering gardens with manicured lawns dotted with palm trees, Mediterranean parasol pines and other native trees all the way to Port Canto, Palm Beach and the sea-water health spa. You can find your way back to the city center (centre ville) by walking along the famous rue d'Antibes, renowned for its international designer boutiques and world-class shopping. The rue Meynadier, restricted to pedestrian traffic only, runs near the rue d'Antibes and has excellent shops and boutiques of every kind. It is also much less expensive, with many more trendy shops that open onto the street. There are several restaurants, crêperies, bistros, green grocers and more, which are full of life...from morning till night! Haute Ville - One gets to the top of the city by climbing the Mont Chevalier up to Le Suquet. On the top of the hill is the old square keep, 66 feet high, begun in 107, and counting all phases of construction was ultimately completed around 1385. The Musée de la Castre has a collection of Mediterranean archaeological artifacts. There is a breath-taking panoramic view at the top of the city below surrounded by the blue of the sea with the Lérins Islands near the horizon. Follow the narrow cobbled lanes down to the market of Forville, then through the tree-lined streets of Liberté to return to the harbor. Historic sites - Churches include Notre Dame du Bon Voyage (18th c.), Notre Dame de l'Esperance, the Alexandre III Russian Orthodox Church, the Bellini, Ste. Anne, Notre Dame de la Paix, and the St Georges chapel. Palais des Festivals - The Palais and convention center has turned Cannes into one of the most popular convention cities in the world. The Cannes International Film Festival is held here, as is MIDEM (the annual international convention of recording producers), and concerts for classical music, dance and theater, and many of the professional conventions highlighted below. Info is available on Cannes-Fest.Com.
