The complex itself is quiet and friendly having only 50 units - a high percentage of which are owner occupied. The apartment is on the 1st floor, with superb views of the sea and surrounding area. It is decorated and equipped to an exceedingly high standard and would provide a comfortable and convenient base for a perfect holiday. The situation of the apartment means that car hire is not essential. Within 5 minutes walk to the right there is a well-stocked Mini Market and a number of small bars and restaurants including British, Chinese and Italian. To the left there is also a selection of cafes and bars including a Bakery. All conveniently close, with the benefit of being out of sight and out of earshot! Drive on the N340 from Malaga Airport heading towards Marbella (Full details can be provided if you intend to hire a car). A Car Rental Company can be recommended on request. Our agents can also arrange an airport pick-up service. Malaga Airport 20 mins (Taxi 40 Euro) Marbella 25 mins Gibraltar 45 mins (bus trip 12 Euro) Fuengirola 10 mins (Taxi 11 Euro) All this information was correct at the time owners Michelle & Ian had their holiday in the apartment in Nov 2003.

La Cala was originally a Spanish fishiing village - and the town is retains much of the original charm. It's still a living working town and benefits from a variety of bars and restaurants where you can enoy everything from local dishes to Chinese, or Indian - there's even an Irish Pub! It's Lively without being brash - ideal for those looking for a little life - but not wanting a party-type resort.

The apartment is accessed by a tiled stairway on the outside which means it is not suitable for anyone who has a problem climbing stairs. Smoking is allowed on balcony only. Halogen and calor gas fires are supplied for use in the cooler months.
