Our two gites, Monet and Matisse, have been lovingly renovated to provide spacious farmhouse accommodation, each sleeping upto 8. Modern comfortable style furnishings, fully equipped to meet your needs. Including WiFi. Both gites are open plan. Monet has 3 bedrooms upstairs, whilst Matisse has a family bedroom downstairs. Both have covered/shady eating areas outside - a must in the high season.Set within 4 acres of landscaped gardens, with Carp-stocked lake, 10mx5m pool,children's play areas. There's even a 'putt n putt' area - just for fun, not serious golfers.

Monet and Matisse are located just South of Jonzac in the South of Charente Maritime, SW France. It tends to have a warmer climate here, and is the secomd sunniest region of France.Surrounded by sunflowers and vineyards yet only 10 minutes from the nearest town and within 30 - 50mins of tourist attractions such as Cognac, Bordeaux and the beach.A perfect place to relax.

Jonzac is a bustling market town with an imposing and delightful Chateau. It has many shops with 3 main supermarkets. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. It has one of the best indoor water parks, Les Antilles, in the Charente Maritime area. Next door to Les Antilles is a casino. Jonzac has it's own working windmill that produces flour and a water mill that produces nut oil, all newly restored.
