Vecchia Casa is a self-catering apartment in a restored farmhouse. The apartment is in the part of the house where the farmers used to store their grain. It has been decorated in the traditional rustic style using antique furniture and fittings, handmade cotto floors and exposed beams. In the open plan living area there is a fully equipped kitchenette, a dining area with table and chairs, a comfy sofa and several tables. There is a DVD player. Wifi functions in the apartment and garden. The cosy bedroom has either an antique king sized bed or 2 single beds. There is also storage and a hanging area for clothes. The ensuite shower room is tiled in honey coloured stone. Outside there is a garden terrace with beautiful views where there are tables and chairs, the perfect place for alfresco dining. For relaxing in the shade we have 2 loungers.

Vecchia Casa is located in a farming hamlet on a low plateau surrounded by rolling hills, with mountains in the background. We are less than 30 minutes from Perugia, yet wild boar roam the woods at night minutes from the house. From the garden you can see the ruins of 4 castles. Ours is the perfect location for exploring both Umbria and Tuscany. Our nearest town, Tavernelle is only 8 minutes by car where there are banks, shops, supermarkets and a selection of places to eat.Arrival and distances
