Traditional Norwegian holiday cottage with an extra sleeping hut in idyllic surroundings on Nordre Karlsøy island. Near the cities of Fredrikstad, Sarpsborg, Halden and the Swedish border. 110 km south of the Norwegian capitol Oslo. A lovely archipelago of islands just outside the door. Lots of opportunities for activities throughout the year. The cottage has 60 square metres of living area (2 bedrooms) and the extra hut has 20 square metres (1 bedroom). The main cottage has recently been redecorated and has both electricity and a fireplace. The site is 3000 square metres with a large lawn and garden. It is surrounded by fields, and has parking for two cars.The cottage is suitable for people with allergies, as the cottage and sleeping hut are non-smoking and pet-free. The cottage consists of a main entrance, living room with fireplace, 2 bedrooms (one with twin bed and one with bunk bed), kitchen and a bathroom. From the living room there is access to the 20 square metre veranda. The veranda is connected to the garden with steps and is equipped with garden furniture and a large barbeque. The small sleeping hut contains among others a bedroom for 2 persons. (sofa bed) The kitchen is fully equipped and contains also a coffee machine, espresso maker, cooker, refrigerator and freezer. The bathroom has WC, washstand, shower cabinet and washing machine. All the rooms have electric wall heaters. It is possible to borrow a motorboat for 6 persons. Petrol is not included.

Once in Norway, travel to the island is by car, and there are parking spaces for two cars outside the cottage, which is situated on a 3000 square metre site, surrounded by fields.

Nordre Karlsøy island is situated in an idyllic fjord, called Skjebergkilen, near the Swedish border at Svinesund. The island is connected to the mainland by a small bridge. Here you can enjoy the wonderful coast and countryside of the island. Within the range of 20 km you will find the three cities Fredrikstad, Sarpsborg and Halden in addition to the Swedish boarder at Svinesund. Oslo is 120km north of Skjeberg.arrival and distances
