Terrace (110 m²) with views. Shared swimming pool 12 x 6 m open from 28.5.-17.9. (or longer if the weather allows and at least 2 houses are occupied). Access through 500 m gravel path. Olive oil for sale. Equipped garden; barbecue; parking area; pizza wood oven. Comfortable environment; 4-ring stove with baking oven, fridge, dishwasher, filter coffee machine. Washing machine at a small extra cost; sat TV 2 Euro a day upon request. Cot upon request. Central heating. Refundable deposit on departure: Euro 150. The owner feeds daily horses, donkey, sheep and chickens. The animals stay at 150 m from the house. Children up to 5 years are not considered us a person.

The holiday house Angelita lies with another 3 houses midway between the medieval villages of Montemassi (5 km) and Roccatederighi (4 km) occupies an attractive position with a fantastic view across the land to the sea. On the left of the photo you can see Angelita; opposite lies Rebecca and 20 m below Mattia and Lazzaro. Postal office, bank, grocer’s shop and pizzeria restaurants are in Roccatederighi. The nearest seaside resort with sand beaches is 35 km, a lake 26 km and the river Farma 21 km away.

Montemassi, whose old town centre has retained the appearance of a compact hamlet at the foot of its gothic-style castle, has been made famous by the fresco portraying the castle during the assault lead by Guidoriccio da Fogliano in 1328. The fresco, attributed to Simone Martini, is preserved in the Palazzo Pubblico at Siena. The Sant’Andrea Apostolo Church, with some of its original furnishings still intact, is also well worth a visit. There are a couple of restaurant/pizzeria, one has a lovely view.
