Pretty detached cottage for 2, with detached barn and huge garden, in a small hamlet high in the Morvan Natural Park, lovely views over the *Monts due Morvan*. The house is set far into the garden with the barn/garage being nearest to the road. The 2,000m2 garden is fully fenced to a height of 1m. There is a large lounge with beamed ceiling and antique red tiles (tommettes)on the floor, fitted corner kitchen, dining area, lounge area, very efficient woodburning fire for those chilly autumn evenings. Upstairs, large bedroom with 160cms bed and en-suite shower room. Satellite TV is available in English, French, Dutch and German + DVD player. Valouze and the neighbouring hamlet form a cul de sac so there is no through traffic. Outside is a detached barn for use as a garage. The garden is laid out to mostly lawn with a flowering hedge on one side, there is an eating area to the back of the house. The house lies on many marked walking tracks. Gites de France 3*. Valouze is almost at the apex of a mini mountain, it and the next tiny hamlet, form a cul de sac so there is no through traffic, only that of the residents of both hamlets. There are many marked walking tracks running through the hamlets, and from the cottage there is a wonderful view of the surrounding hills.

The cottage is in the hamlet of Valouze. The nearest town is Autun, where there are several good sized supermarkets and a wonderful Friday morning market. Chissey en Morvan is the nearest village although there is only one small shop, in the other direction is Moux with a very good bakers, butchers shop, post office, mini market, bar and restuarant.
