This lovely old Villa set in central Russell, has much charm and character, wonderfull kauri floor and comfortable furnishings. A sunny kitchen, dining/living room plus separate lounge. 3 bedrooms: 1 x king bed ~ 1 x Queen ~ 1 x bunks plus 2 single beds (4 beds). 2 x showers & 2 toilets plus laundry etc. Fully self contained One minutes walk to the Russell wharf and beach. Dine at any of the 8 eateries fully enjoying the village atmosphere. Longbeach is only 2 minutes away by car, or a pleasant early morning 6 minute walk over the hill (great photo spot) and you are in the surf, watching the sun rise! Plenty of parking for cars and boat.

Romantic Russell as it is now known is located in the Bay of Islands, Northland, New Zealand. The old charm, history, modern facilities and access to many attractions make it the perfect base for a romantic stay, family holiday or base to explore the upper north island. There is even a pizza restaurant with take out or delivery service Entertainment varies from jazz in the "Duke" to summer rock bands in the marquee Passenger ferries operate continuously to the tourist town of Paihia where additional shops and attractions can be found. A number of attractions leave from Russell wharf including the fast Excitor trip to the hole in the rock, R Tucker Thomson sailing ship, fishing charters and dolphin encounter cruisers. A medical clinic and chemist are also in the main shopping area. The wharf is a hive of activity with Paihia ferries, game fishing boats, tours and boats refueling coming and going. A peaceful and picturesque township set deep in the Bay of Islands, Russell is renowned as a big-game fishing centre and as a holiday town of major historical interest. The town is linked by ferry to Paihia, Waitangi and Opua by both vehicle and passenger.
