Villa Mimosa is a beautiful, completely detached six-persons villa with swimmingpool, perched above the sea with a magnificent view over the deep blue Mediterranean Sea and the Greek island of Meyisti. The villa is nestled in a lush green valley close to the picturesque town of Kaş at the impressive Turkish south coast. The holiday house is surrounded by a private garden of 600 m2. There is a swimming pool, (5 x 12 m) shared with one other villa (of British owners), where you can sunbath on sunbeds with umbrellas. The large balcony (30 m2) has Turkish beds, a dining area and a breathtaking view. There are two terraces with permanent shadow. One of them is a beautiful veranda (30 m2) with a large dining table and barbecue, the other (60 m2) offers you a shadowy lounge on lazy sofa's and a day bed. The downstairs interior of Villa Mimosa consists of a spacey living / dining room (70 m2) with a fireplace, TV and DVD set, an open plan kitchen and a toilet. There are 5 large patio doors leading onto the two terraces and the garden, which gives the livingroom a light and natural atmosphere. The kitchen is completely supplied with a 4 pits electric cooker, a microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and washing-machine. Furthermore there are a coffeemaker, kitchen utensils, crockeryset etc. . Upstairs is the entrance with a hall and three bedrooms, one with a double bed, the others have two single beds. There are three small bathrooms, with a shower or bath tub. The hall and two bedrooms have access to the large balcony and have a magnificent sea view, the third bedroom is surrounded by garden. The living room and all the bedrooms are air-conditioned. The villa is children-friendly, with gates between the house and the swimming pool and the house and the entrance road. There are a kid chair and a kid mattress with a small duvet and kids bed textile. The distance to the sea is 200 meters, which you can reach by steps or road. At the seaside you will find three beaches with free sun beds and umbrellas. Consumption will be served at your chair. You also can enjoy a perfect lunch there on shadowy tables. In the neighbourhood of Kaş are some lovely pebble beaches and at half an hour driving in Patara there is the most exquisite sand beach with a length of 6 kilometres.Villa Mimosa is situated on the peninsula, appr. 5 km. from the centre of Kaş, which is only a 10 minute dolmus ride. Each morning our caretaker will bring you fresh bread There are several supermarkets in Kas, which are eager to deliver you purchases at home. You can also order your shopping list by phone. In the villa is an information folder and we have an English speaking housekeeper who is happy to help you with all your questions and problems.

Villa Mimosa is perched above the Mediteranean Sea, on the green and lush peninsula of Kas. The sea is very clean (with the eco-label "Blue Flag") - because there are no polluting industries- and has a wonderful blue and turquoise green color. The villa is located 5 kilometers from the center of Kas. You can use a dolmus (minibus)to reach Kas in 10 minutes.

Kas, in the '70s discovered by the hippies, is a small, picturesque village with an authentic, Turkish, carefree atmosphere. It lies on the southern coast of Turkey in a beautiful bay and is surrounded by the impressive Taurus Mountains. The coast is bizarre and there are numerous small islands in front of Kas. The picturesque Ottoman architecture, ancient monuments and whitewashed facades form a magnificent backdrop for the lavish goods for tourists in the narrow, sometimes steep streets. You'll meet antique shops, boutiques and jewelers, carpets, textiles, glass and pottery, alongside beautiful terraces and teagardens. The evenings in Kas are relaxed with good (fish) restaurants, bars and terraces. The former fishing village has an attractive port, where the excursion boats and boats for diving compete with the increasing numbers of privat yachts for a place. In Kas you'll find remnants of the ancient Lycian as well as the Greek / Roman culture. In the center is a Lycian stone sarcophag, a monument whose text has not yet been deciphered. There is also a Hellenistic theater on the peninsula near the sea,where during summertime performances will be held. Kas is an excellent starting point for excursions and activities. The place is situated in a central position regarding many interesting and ancient cultural monuments and is surrounded by wonderful nature and the blue clear sea with many sportfacilities. Some options are: excursions: With a rental car you can in one day visit the ruins of ancient Myra (interesting because of the Lycian tombs), St. Nikolas Basilica of Demre (the tomb of St Nicholas), the waterfall between Kas and Kalkan and the beautiful gorge in Saklikent. Lovers of ancient buildings could go to the ruins of Tlos. West of Kas are still remnants of the ancient Lycian city of Xanthos, Patara and Letoon (the birthplace of St Nicholas). Also worth a trip is Kalkan. If you love nature, then you might go to the countryside of Kas (the villages Gömb / Kasaba). Something very special is a boat ride along the splendid coast and bays. You can include a (glass-) boat trip to the sunken Byzantine city of Kekova and the Lycian tombs. The Greek island Meyisti is located directly across from Kas. You can visit this colorful island by ferryboat. If you like sportive activities, Kas offers you the following possibilities: Water sports: The extremely rocky coast of Kas is a popular holiday destination for divers. Nearby are several excellent diving and snorkeling sites. There are opportunities in abundance, to dive at caves or wrecks . There are as many as 20 divers schools! You can also rent sea kayaks or canoes. Kas is a popular harbour for the Blue Cruise boats and sailors who like the port of Kas. Paragliding, mountaineering and hiking: Kas is a selected point (the second best city in Turkey) to fly from the Taurus Mountains with a paraglider. Mountaining can be found in the Saklikentgorge and mountain biking is a popular sport. For hikers, it is also a fantastic area. The first Turkish distance walking path, the Lycian pathway, more than 2000 years old, runs along Kas.

Every morning our English speaking caretaker will bring you fresh bread ( "ekmek"), cleans the pool and the terraces and likes to help and support our guests.
