Our cosy holiday house is lying in the village of Eski Köycegiz, within the heart of a nature reserve. It is surrounded by approximately 930 square meters of natural garden with several different tropical trees, including palm, banana, eucalyptus, lemon and orange trees. Köycegiz Lake, which has a connection to the Mediterranean Sea, is five minutes walk away. You can explore the lake with a fishing boat and visit an ancient thermal bath or a natural sulphur bath en-route! We guaranty single travellers, couples, small or large families or groups a pleasant abidance for up to 6 people. Terraces and gardens invite you to sleep out in the open air if you wish. Camping - a special joy for the children - is, of course, also possible.

Our "big" summer residence provides space for six people. It has a living space of 125 square meters across two floors, with a pitched roof area on the upper floor. There are four bedrooms: a single and a double room on the first floor and a further single and double room on the ground floor. There is a living room, a fully-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a shower and lavatory on the ground floor. There are also two terraces measuring 15 square meters each. Either option will provide single travellers, couples, small or large families, or groups with a pleasant retreat for up to 10 people. Terraces and gardens invite you to sleep out in the open air if you wish. Camping - a special joy for the children - is, of course, also possible. Here you can experience nature at its best. The two houses and the garden are managed according to ecologically sensitive principles. For example: we don't use any pesticides in the garden, so you can eat our organically-grown fruits. For warm water preparation we use a solar spring facility, which also can be operated by electricity if required. You receive natural drinking water from the mountains, and we don't use any chemical pesticides against insects or weeds.

You reach Villa Amber through the "Eski Köycegizköy" ("Old-Köycegiz") village over a short path along an idyllic stream. Old-Köycegiz with its ancient ruins is peacefully located between a large lake and mountains. It is a marvellous place to relax in the midst of pristine nature. In the village live about 50 families, who you can't see at first due to the shelter provided by large trees. You can buy milk, eggs, butter, seasonal vegetables, home-made bread and yoghurt from the villagers on request. Breakfast, lunch or dinner can be prepared with a day's advance notice. Your entire whole stay can also be on a half or full board basis as requested.The town of Köycegiz with its wonderful bazaar is about 10kms away. You can fulfil all your shopping requirements in the bazaar on Mondays. To get to Köycegiz you can either rent a car or boat, or you can take the mini cooper that goes to Köycegiz every Monday morning (only on Mondays). If you are a hiker you can also walk three kilometres along the lake side to the main road and take a "dolmus" (hailed shared taxi) from there.arrival and distances
