Jasmines House, a house of historical value, originally built around 1830 and recently carefully restored to its original state using authentic traditional materials and craftsmanship. The house is situated in the picturesque and historic village of Tochni.
Built exclusively with stone, its unique traditional architectural features have been carefully preserved. Enclosed within tall stone walls, it has large old cobble-stone courtyard and traditional garden made up mostly of jasmines and other traditional flowers, herbs & plants. The house is characterised by the warmth of the combination of stone and wood. Well equipped, furnished with traditional furniture and decorated with traditional objects combines the character and charm of traditional building and modern day comforts.
The house is let out as a private traditional village villa of 3 double bedrooms, 3 sitting / dining rooms and 3 toilet - shower/ bath rooms. It accomodates families / friends of 1-11 persons).
The house can also be let out as three separate 1-double bedroom traditional apartments – the White Jasmines, the Yellow Jasmines and the Pink Jasmines, two of which can be joined together to form one spacious 2-double bedroom apartment. Each apartment can accommodate families/ fiends of 1 - 4 persons.
Its balcony, very large internal courtyard and beautiful garden offer magnificent views of the village and opportunity to sunbathe and relax - ideal for peace and tranquillity.

Jasmine House being situated at Tochni village which is at a convenient location; about 30-40 minutes drive to the main towns of Cyprus –, Lemesos (Limassol) 30 km, Larnaka (30 km) amd Lefkosia (Nicosia) 45 km and only about 5 minutes drive to the popular Governors Beach.
In the area around there are restaurants, taverns, cafes, grocery shops and other amenities.
Very close to Tochni village are the villages of Choirokoitia and Kalavasos with their archaeological sites, the villages of Psematismenos and Maroni with their picturesque houses and at slightly longer distance the village of Lefkara, famous for its lace and architecture.
Zygi, a fishing village, is nearby with lots of fish taverns as well as the Governor’s beach with its clear waters – ideal for sunbathing and swimming.

Tochni village is centrally located, in an area of history & archaeology and near to the sea.
Saint Helena, the mother of Constantine the Great, passed through Cyprus in 327 A.C., on her return from the Holy Land where she was on an expedition to recover the Holy Cross. On her way through Cyprus stayed at Tochni village where she built a church in the centre of the village. Today the visitor can see the ruins of an old church as well as the relatively newer church which has a unique characteristic – it is built above the brook passing the village.
Tochni village is built amphitheatrically on the slopes of two hills. In the centre of the village is the square, the church, a grocery shop and a coffee shop where the locals meet. With its old stone-houses and narrow streets, the village has lots of character and tradition.
