Casa do Figueiral 4 Bedrooms, Sleeps 10, 2 Bathrooms Casa do Figueiral, is peaceful and comfortable with beautiful views overlooking the garden, the green valley and the ocean from almost every window. Sleeps 6 - 10 people. Accommodation comprises of One Double Bedroom, One Twin, an adjoined studio apartment with double bed and optional double in loft sleeping area, (access via ladder). There is also a snug room off of the lounge with 2 single beds. There are two bathrooms, which have windows to the outside and a large spacious lounge and well-equipped kitchen. Includes cable TV and wireless Internet, a DVD player. There are three beautiful garden areas around the house, one being a grassy terrace with a covered eating area and BBQ. There is a cobblestone driveway with parking area in the lower level garden for 2 cars. Guests are provided with a welcome pack on arrival to include milk, bread, tea, coffee, wine and nibbles. We also provide t-towels and dish washing supplies. Our cosy village is located where the Sintra mountain touches the ocean. The closest beach is the beautiful Guincho. Scenic walks to other secluded beaches. This area has surfing, sailing, kite surfing, paddle boarding, mountain biking, golfing (Quinta da Marinha and Oitavos Golf courses), horseback riding, tennis, rock climbing, cultural touring, shopping, sun bathing. All within a 10 km radius. Cascais, nearby, has beaches, cafés, pubs and shops. There is a promenade along the water with beach coves and sunny cafés. Casa da Guia nearby, overlooks the ocean with restaurants and cafés set in the grounds of the old manor house with stylish shops and boutiques. Sintra also nearby is a dramatically beautiful mountain village with castles to explore like Quinta da Regaleira as well as cafés and shops. 5 mn drive North from the house on a beautiful coastal road is the lighthouse at Cabo da Roca the most western point of Europe, Praia Adraga, Azenhas do Mar, Praia Grande, Praia das Macas.

Malveira da Serra is nestled in foothills of Sintra mountain just overlooking Guincho beach. It is a five minute drive to Guincho beach with good surf and sun bathing. It takes ten minutes to drive to the town of Cascais. Malveira da Serra is on the west end of the Sintra mountain, it takes 15 minutes to drive to the opposite Eastern end where the old historic village of Sintra town lies. It takes twenty five minutes to drive to Lisbon. Driving North past Malveira da Serra on a meandering scenic road high up above the ocean one looks down and sees villages nestled together with red roof tops against the blue of the ocean. One will pass Cabo da Roca, the furthest western point of Europe and the beautiful beaches that lie beyond.
