Typical New England home, idyllic and quiet in Little Compton, a historic coastal village on the Atlantic Ocean near Newport, Rhode Island. The house is surrounded by a large lawn and woods. It has three spacious bedrooms and beds for up to 6 people, a large living room, kitchen area, 1 bathroom with bath, shower and toilet, another toilet, spread over two floors. At the front there is a large terrace with garden furniture for dining outside, sunbathing or simply enjoying the beautiful view of the premises. The master bedroom upstairs has a large double bed (queen size), the other two a double bed (\"Full Size\") and two single beds (\"Twins\"). There is also a futon sofa/bed which can easily be used as an extra bed for guests. All through the house there\'s a beautiful light timber flooring giving the house its special warm and charming character. The house is fully equipped (kitchen equipment, washing machine, dryer, bed linen, towels) and offers families and their guests great conditions for a recreative holiday with beautiful beaches and in close touch with nature.

The village center and the fantastic beaches are just a few minutes away. The house is about 1 mile from the village center down a calm little country road lined with beautiful houses, gardens and trees. The house is surrounded by a very large lawn, which adjoins a forest. The neighborhood is secluded and spacious. The area can be explored perfectly by bike.

Little Compton is an old New England coastal village at the tip of a peninsula, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. There are beautiful sand beaches, for instance South Shore Beach or Lloyd\'s Beach, perfect for surf riding, swimming, beach hiking or simply relaxing in the sand dunes or on top of the rocks high above the breaking waves. Beaches are also very suited for children. During the summer months there are life guards on South Shore Beach. In the town centre, next to the historic sites all the amenities for a relaxing holiday can be found. \"The Commons\" is the soul of the place. There is a food and household goods business which has been run by the Wilbur family since generations and sells anything you need. In addition, there\'s a typical New England \"Diner\", where you can taste the famous Clam Showder. At the comfy Art Cafe you easily get in touch with the locals. The village has public tennis courts, a golf course and country club, and some excellent restaurants. During the summer months greengrocers sell local produce. Little Compton is ideal for exploring the sights of New England. Newport with its Gilded-Age mansions, the historic port and the Jazz Festival, Boston, Cape Cod and Providence are fast and easy to reach.
