The house amid of a large park compound (20.000 m²) with a small forest, a delicious, old tree population, more than 30 kinds of camellias, Rhododendron, azaleas, mimosas, eucalyptus and palms, large area of meadows, an own fruit orchard, situated above the shores of the Aulne, where you have a delicious discovering view onto the river landscape. Proximate in front of the house you can go fishing or canoeing. Over the property, along the river which forms two large nooses the old towpath from Nantes to Brest where ships were pulled in the past and now invites to ample promenades or broad bicycle tours. Hiking tours are offered to discover the idyllic, undulating landscape of the “Black Mountains” directly from your holiday domicile.

Despite the agrarian location at the edge between the „Black Mountains“ and the Parc d’Amorique a lot of sights and the most beautiful beaches are easy to get. The capital of the Finistère, the picturesque Quimper, is only half an hour apart by car. Nearer are the historical cities Chateaulin, Locronan or Le Faou. The wide, picturesque sandy and dune beaches of the gulf of Douarnenez are also only half an hour apart. The national park reserve Parc d’Amorique of the Brittany located proximate in the west of the cottage nearby Pleyben is of value of an excursion: 172.000 hectares of forest and moor land with lakes and rivers or the sea of cliffs from Huelgoat – you won’t be unimpressed.

On the ground floor is a 48 m² large, cosy furnished living-dining room in Brittany style with a great chimney which is as high as the room. A well equipped kitchenette made of massive wood with a 5 flames, combined gas and electronic stove, electronic oven with grill, freezer, dish washer, naturally with all devices. An open stair leads to the first floor. Because of the roof construction the rooms of the first floor are very high. Firstly you get to the to an open mezzanine of 42 m² which is used as a lounge and study and furnished as a 2nd living room. The bedrooms 1 (18 m²) and 2 (14 m²) have a French double bed of 140 x 200 and a sofa bed of the same size. An additional cot is available.
