Originally the house was a small shag in the field. It was extended into a house creating a house with pleasant and charcteristic rooms, a big garden and three generous terraces to live unique holidays in Umbria's marvelous nature and cultur.

The holiday house is located 2 km from the villagecentre, in the neighbourhood to other two old farmhouses. In the large, wild garden grown Olivetrees and oaks a big meadow and wooded zones sturture the garden. Near to the houese there is a kitchen garden. From the terraces at the first floor the view to the centre of Giove and the westview to sunset and far until Montefiascone (above Bolsena lake) and until the Tuscany mountains. To the east are the fields with thier typical mediterranean plants.

Giove got its name from an ancient roman temple over the tiber valley dedicated to Jupiter (ital. Giove). Today the impressing Palazzo with its origins in medieval age and its actual appearance dating from late renaissance dominates with its bigness and grandeur the old village. A terrace viewing over the Tiber valley turns in the evening into a meeting place with bar for the inhabitants . The more recent extension of Giove developed along the main stree on wich there are all the institutiones for daily life like the local authority, post office (with cash point), bank Carabinieri-station and backery, und butcher, Supermarket (Coop)and restaurant/pizzeria “da Piero” and more.
